Any team or vendor can sign the pit out for team training or vendors wishing to put on demo’s or any training..

You can sign the pit out in one hour blocks. E-mail us for time slot you wish.

At all times proper Personnel Protection Equipment must be worn in the pit.

Training Schedule

Wednesday June 25th

8:00am - 4:00pm        Big Rig Extrication
Location: @ Comp. Site Extrication Pits

Instructor will be Pete Methner from On Scene Rescue Training. 
This will be a hands on course.  Attendance will be  limited to one member from each team. Personnel Protection Equipment will be required by participant. Other team members will be able to view the class from outside the pit area. If there are openings additional team members will be able to attend.

9:00am - 10:30am      Captains Workshop Clinic 
Location: @ CFD Co#3 2856 Chili Ave.

Instructor will be Wally Byers,  Past team Captain Brighton FD. X-Team
This will be a clinic for team captains and for up coming captains. Topics will cover area such as, training, what makes a good leader and  judging questions. Along with around table discussions where captains will be able to ask questions, discuses idea’s and pass on information with other team captains.

9:00am- 10:30am      Medic’s Workshop Clinic
Location: @ Comp. site Educational Pit

Instructors will be Terc. Judges Jamie Krivoski & Jackie McCammon
This will be a clinic for the team medic’s and up coming medic’s. Topics will cover area such as, Patient and the medic safety, what the judges are looking for and  proper patent protection. Medic’s will be able to Q&A with the instructors.

10:45am - 12:00am   Response Safety for the Rescuer
Location: @ Comp. Site Fire House Main Meeting Room

Instructor will be Monroe County Fire Instructor Kevin Kolb

10:45am - 12:15pm.    Judges Clinic Workshop
Location: @ CFD Co#3 2856 Chili Ave.

Instructor will be Terc. International Judge Carlos Eguiluz
This clinic is for all Terc. Judges and for all new Judges to take. Judges must take a clinic every three years to keep up their certification.

12:30pm - 2:30pm.     New Tool Techniques for the Rescuer
Location: @ Comp. Site Education / Training Pit

Instructor will be Mike Curry from First Out Rescue
This class will be Demo and Hands on Training for the rescuer. Topics will cover new tools, new ways and idea’s of using them and  new cutting, spreading, relocating of metal, plastic, glass and other obstructions.
Class will be repeated on Saturday June 28th.

Location: @ Comp. Site Main Firehouse Meeting Room

Instructor will be Terc. Educational Chair Dave Dalrymple
